Looking for harp lessons?

Tiffany teaches lever harp in Northeast Ohio,

or through Zoom anywhere in the world

What do I teach?
I offer lessons for absolute beginners, up through advanced-intermediate Scottish and Irish style harp, session backing, general technique, basic music reading, ear training, practical music theory for all levels, arranging for all levels, and accompaniment for singing for all levels. I like to use both aural learning and sheet music; both method
s have their place! Please note that I do not teach pedal (orchestral) harp, as that is a different instrument not in my field of expertise.

My long-term goal as an instructor is to provide my students with a solid basis of technique, an understanding of their instrument, and the “whys” behind the “what,” which will in turn grow the student into a well-rounded and self-sufficient musician.

Whatever your musical background, I meet my students where they are.
Let's crush your goals together!

Scheduling and payment:
If you would like to schedule a one-time lesson or regular lessons, contact me here

to find out if space is available or to get on my waitlist.

I offer several options for payment, but Zelle or check/cash is prefferd.

If you are a late beginner up through a late intermediate and want to learn Celtic repertoire, you might also like the Mastering Celtic Music Club. Learn more here.

A note on what I need from my students:

A consistent practice time is important if you want to advance on the harp. Having regular lessons is not enough. Many adults have dreamed of learning the harp for years, but work, family obligations, and other projects mean they just can't practice for several hours every day. That's okay! You don't need to practice for hours at a time to be successful, but you DO need a consistent practice time, which may look different for every person. You can make significant progress even if all you have is 20 minutes a day, or nearly every day.

If your schedule doesn't allow you to do any practice, then unfortunately,

lessons will not be the most efficient use of your time or my time.

Performance opportunity:
I host a spring recital in Northeast Ohio for local students, and a Zoom recital every fall for online students. Each student is asked to perform a piece or two that they have been working on for the rest of the group and family/friends who have come to support.

Our recitals are a no-judgment zone - this is an opportunity to grow by

playing for others, connect with fellow harp lovers, and have fun!

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you soon!
